Silviya Saikali has always had a passion for Italian art, fashion and culture, and all roads led her to become a Creative Graphic designer for Maison Moschino in Milan-one of the most distinguished fashion houses worldwide. Moschino, owned by the Aeffe Group, is famous for its innovative, leading edge and colourful designs, those qualities of which Silviya delivers at the highest calibre. In 2011, Silviya left Moschino design team and launched the luxury label SILVIYA NERI. Until now, Silviya Neri has established itself as an iconic luxury label specializing in silk scarves sold across the globe at world’s top boutiques and department stores including Merci in Paris, United Arrows in Tokyo, Barneys in New York, and have been featured in the international publications Vogue Italia, Vogue Netherlands, Interni, WeAr Mag, Decades, and Terrific Fashion book by Christina Morozzi. Ever eclectic and impactful, with a bewitching charm, the Silviya Neri kaleidoscopic collection is a picture of elegance in a cinematic and uplifting realm. Melding together Italian craftsmanship with a unique voice of splendor, traditions with innovation, a new universe revolves around Silviya Neri. Researching, designing and producing a story is what the designer Silviya Saikali loves the most, and it is done exceptionally well. As a designer, she strives to create commercially viable collections with unforgettable style. As an artist, she invites us to delve into a world of modern and surreal worlds with a hint at authenticity of an old world charm. If art is a game of surprises and revelations, Silviya Neri scarves are adored by a clientele of wise and beautiful-minded women with a sense of humor and irony. Seeing best sellers emblazoned with vibrant prints hit the market and capture the heart of customers is truly stimulating. In May 2017, Silviya Neri debuted a new chapter- a luxury Resort wear collection. The designer was invited to showcase a one-of-a-kind collection during Grand Prix 2017 in Monte Carlo modeled by the Formula 1 ladies, with the special audience presence of the Royal family and Prince Albert of Monaco. The exquisite collection of silk dresses and tunics derived through the same tradition of producing the brand’s signature scarves. Beginning with a hand-made illustration, the artwork is then rendered into magical patterns printed on to the finest Italian silk. The effect of Silviya Neri creations is of an edgy glamour with an exuberant aura. Each print tells its own story with a language saturated in universal beauty and art. In time where the soul longs for ebullience, the spirit of Silviya Neri is daring and comforting. Living and working between Italy and Australia perfectly mirrors the enchanted imagination and rich color combinations from Western and Eastern cultural influences. With an extensive fabric, textile pattern making and trend forecasting knowledge, today Silviya Neri collaborates with fashion, jewelry and furniture companies and works on private commission projects. Her creations were auctioned at fundraising events for Variety, the Children’s Charity in Australia, and Race Against Dementia organization of Sir Jackie Stewart in Monaco.
